Underground Cable

Underground Cable is a cable that is often buried underground compared to common overhead lines, so it is also called underground cable. A cable is made of one or more insulated conductor insulation layers and protective layers that are used to transfer power or information from one location to another.
After entering the modern society, due to the urban land shortage, traffic pressure, city construction and other reasons, large cities generally adopt underground cable transmission. Compared with the overhead line, the cable has the advantages of small footprint, reliable transmission, and strong anti-interference ability. The construction plan, protective measures, census procedures, basic requirements for direct buried cables and underground cable fault locators of underground cables are introduced in detail.
Classification
Unlike overhead high-voltage lines, cables are often laid in cable trenches, tunnels, pipes, or indoors. After entering the modern society, due to the urban land shortage, traffic pressure, city construction and other reasons, large cities generally adopt underground cable transmission. Compared with overhead lines, cables have the advantages of small footprint, reliable transmission, and strong anti-interference ability.
Cable classification: Cables include power cables, control cables, compensation cables, shielded cables, high temperature cables, computer cables, signal cables, marine cables, etc.
Laying cable
There are two methods commonly used for cable laying, namely manual laying and mechanical traction laying. Regardless of the laying method used to ensure the safety of the construction personnel and the quality of the cable construction, the cable reel must be securely erected on the pay-off frame (or the cable reel can be lifted by a crane). To install the cable reel, roll the cable reel to the predetermined position in the direction of the arrow on the reel, and then thread the steel shaft into the shaft hole of the reel.
The strength and length of the steel shaft should be combined with the weight and width of the cable reel. To make the reel move freely. We intend to use manpower to lay cables. First of all, according to the length of the path, the labor is organized by people walking along the cable trenches, or they can stand in the ditch and carry the cables by hand. When the laying path is long, the cable should be placed on the roller, and the cable should be pulled by human to guide the cable to move forward.
